Training - Admission into B.Ed., Regular Course in Govt. IASE's / CTE's in the State for the year 2015-17 Allotment of seats to the Ministerial staff working in School Education Department - Reg.

The attention of the under mentioned officers are invited to the reference read above, and they are informed that the Rules for admission into B.Ed. Course were issued in G.O.Ms.No.92 Education (SE-Trg-1) Department, Dated: 16-11-2006 in the reference read above. The following provision has been made in the G.O. for In-service candidates for admission into B.Ed. course. The Rule 8 (a) of the G.O. reads as follows:
Reservation of seats for In-service Candidates:
1.Ten seats in each Government Institute of Advance Study in Education / Government College of Teacher Education shall be reserved for Section Officers and other non-gazetted officials including Record Assistants and Attenders working in the Education Department of Andhra Pradesh
Secretariat as permitted by the government and Ministerial staff including the Record Assistants and attenders working in the offices under the control of Commissioner and Director of the School Education and the Ministerial Staff including Record Assistants and Attenders working in the recognised Non- Government Institutions like the Zilla Parishads, Manda parshads, Municipalities, Private Institutions under the administrative control of the Director of the School Education, A.P., Hyd as permitted by the Director of School Education.
2. Their selection for admission will be made by the Director of School Education purely on the basis of rank assigned in the Common Entrance Test. If sufficient number of candidates are not available under this quota they may be filled in by the candidates from the general pool.
3. As per the NCTE Norms 2014, the duration of the B.Ed. programme has been enhanced from one academic year to Two academic years from the year 2015-16 onwards and therefore the candidates who seek admission have to apply leave to which they are eligible for 2 years.
4. Therefore all under mentioned officers are requested to submit the particular candidates willing and eligible for B.Ed. training for the academic year 2015-17 under In-service quota (Ministerial Staff only) as per the above rule position in the prescribed proforma on or before 15-09-2015
