#Online, #Offline #Monitoring in AP Model Primary Schools/ State, District, Mandal, School Complex Team Visits, Monitoring, Inspections, supervision in AP Model Primary Schools:  As we have many expectations on MPS as centers of excellence, the monitoring and evaluation system also need to be efficiently planned and effectively implemented.
Structure of Monitoring: MPS can be effectively monitored both online and offline.
1. Online Through Internet: Online reports of mentoring teams should reach State Monitoring Team every month regularly. The mentoring teams are to be supplied with a tab to store the data received from the HMs of MPS concerned. (The type of data, pictures, videos that can be collected from the HMs is furnished in detail under the item ‘School Leadership’)
Procedure for sending online reports is proposed hereunder.
a. The mentoring sub – teams of all divisions have to visit the schools during the 1st week of every month.
b. The teams have to submit their consolidated reports to the District during the 2nd week.
c. The DEO’s office has to submit the district consolidated report to the state team in the 3rd week of every month.
d. State consolidated reports and further developmental activities will be suggested to the respective districts through online/teleconference/video conference in the last week of the month

2. Through Video conferences and Phones also monitoring of the MPS is to be done with appropriate information available with the DEOs/MEOs/Compex HMs/MPS H.Ms

3. Online monitoring of the MPS through PINDCS and LINDICS information uploaded from each district

2. Offline Monitoring:
1. Mandal Team:
• A mandal level team has to be constituted with MEO, Complex H.M, One SRG and one CRP.
• The team has to make at least 3 visits and one complete inspection in a year
• Roles of the team members are as follows.
MEO: Monitors the administrative issues like teachers attendance, maintenance of records, conduction of SMC, MDM, Utilization of funds, on time correspondence with the office etc
Complex H.M: Monitors the Academic matters like Teachers preparation, Classrooms, TLM, Children notebooks, conduct of Assembly, celebration of national festivals etc.
SRG: Monitors the teaching methods, functioning of language laboratories, subject forums, innovative, general and specific activities
CRP: Takes care of Pupil attendance, maintenance of premises, drinking water facilities, toilets, relations with community etc.
All members together see the appraisal of PINDICS and LINDICS

2. District Team:
A district team constituted with DEO, DIET Principal, MEO of the respective mandal and one SRG has to visit all MPS in the District once in a year with selected Mandals in each division in a phased manner with a perfect year plan to cover all MPS.
DEO: Monitors infrastructure facilities, the administrative issues like teachers attendance, MDM, Utilization of funds, on time correspondence with the office etc
DIET Principal: Monitors the Academic matters like Teachers preparation, Classrooms, TLM, Children notebooks, conduct of Assembly, celebration of national festivals etc.
SRGs: Monitor the teaching methods, functioning of language laboratories, subject forums, innovative, general and specific activities
MEO: Takes monitors maintenance of records, conduction of SMC, Pupil attendance, maintenance of premises, relations with community etc.
All members together see the appraisal of PINDICS and LINDICS

3. State Team:

  1. A state team constituted with Director SCERT, officers from other interventions in the Education department has to visit MPS in each district once in a year.
  2. The team has to convene a meeting with the district officials and conduct a review before going to visits. The team has to visit certain no. of schools randomly in the district covering all the divisions.
  3. The team will monitor on the above said grounds and conduct a review meeting after the visits.
  4. The team will cooperate for the development of MPS by mentoring, coaching, building quality relationships, by building trust, leading the Change, leading academic innovations.
  5. All members together see the appraisal of PINDICS and LINDICS.
