As per the directives of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Ordinances promulgated by the Central Government on 24.05.2017, National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-II (UG) 2017 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

NEET 2017 likely to be conducted in regional languages: In a sigh of relief to aspirants, Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry is expected to make a major announcement that the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) shall be conducted in regional languages from next year. Education News If done so, then NEET would be held in six vernacular languages - Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali and Gujarati.

As per reports, Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that the NEET issue was raised during the recent meet with Education Minister Prakash Javadekar.  "During the discussion, minister assured that the students' concerns will be at the centre point of any decision taken on the national common entrance examination. Keeping this in view, there is all possibility that this exam will be conducted in Gujarati in 2017".

The AIPMT-2017/NEET- I was conducted on 1 st May, 2017. NEET-II will be conducted on Sunday, the 24th July, 2017. The judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and Ordinances is uploaded on NEET website.  The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Counseling Authorities and Admitting Institutions.

CBSE has published the NEET II(UG) notification and Online applications are invited for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-II (UG), 2017 to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/ BDS Courses in India in Medical/ Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 24 from 10 am to 1 pm. The candidates can download the admit cards from July 8.

Exam pattern:
1. The entrance test shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
2. The duration of test would be three hours

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-II (UG), 2017 is applicable for admissions to the following:
i. All India Quota Seats.
ii. State Government Quota Seats where the State Government concerned so opts.
iii. Private/ Management/ NRI Quota Seats in all Private Medical/ Dental Colleges or any Private/ Deemed University.

Language: The candidates can opt for question paper either in English or in Hindi.

Pattern of Test:
The NEET-II shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The duration of paper would be 03 hours from 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio technology at the qualifying examination.

Age limit:
The candidate must have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December, 2017 of the year of his/ her admission.

Note: Candidates from the States of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and J &K are not eligible for 15% All India Quota seats as these States had opted out of All India Scheme since its inception. However, they are eligible to appear in NEET-II for admission in Private Medical/ Dental Colleges or any Private/ Deemed University and AFMC, Pune.

How to apply:
Candidates can apply for NEET-II “Online” only. No offline application will be entertained. Online submission of Application Form may be done by accessing Board’s website www.aipmt.nic.in. Instructions for Online submission of Application are available in the Information Bulletin and on the website www.aipmt.nic.in


Schedule for on-line submission of application forms:
1. For fee through e-challan: 26.05.2017 to 21.06.2017.
2. For fee through other e-modes: 26.05.2017 to 25.06.2017.
3. Last date for successful final transaction of fee: 25.06.2017.
