As per the directives of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Ordinances promulgated by the Central Government on 31-01-2017, National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) 2017 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

NEET 2017 likely to be conducted in regional languages: In a sigh of relief to aspirants, Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry is expected to make a major announcement that the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) shall be conducted in regional languages from next year. Education News If done so, then NEET would be held in six vernacular languages - Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali and Gujarati.

CBSE has published the NEET (UG) notification and Online applications are invited for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-(UG), 2017 to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/ BDS Courses in India in Medical/ Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 07-05-2017 from 10 am to 1 pm.

FEE DETAILS:
FOR GENERAL/OBC: Rs.1400/-
FOR SC/ST/PH: 750/-

Exam pattern:
1. The entrance test shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
2. The duration of test would be three hours

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG), 2017 is applicable for admissions to the following:
i. All India Quota Seats.
ii. State Government Quota Seats where the State Government concerned so opts.
iii. Private/ Management/ NRI Quota Seats in all Private Medical/ Dental Colleges or any Private/ Deemed University.

Language: The candidates can opt for question paper either in English or in Hindi.

Pattern of Test:
The NEET (UG) shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The duration of paper would be 03 hours from 10.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio technology at the qualifying examination.

Age limit:
The candidate must have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December, 2017 of the year of his/ her admission.

Note: Candidates from the States of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and J &K are not eligible for 15% All India Quota seats as these States had opted out of All India Scheme since its inception. However, they are eligible to appear in NEET-II for admission in Private Medical/ Dental Colleges or any Private/ Deemed University and AFMC, Pune.

How to apply:
Candidates can apply for NEET-II “Online” only. No offline application will be entertained. Online submission of Application Form may be done by accessing Board’s website www.aipmt.nic.in. Instructions for Online submission of Application are available in the Information Bulletin and on the website www.aipmt.nic.in

~ Candidates can apply ONLY ONLINE.
~ Online submission of application may be made by accessing the Board’s website www.cbseneet.nic.in Instructions for submitting online application and payment of fee are available on website.
~ Candidates may remit the fee in the following manner:
 a. Through any Debit/Credit Card
 b. Net Banking/UPIor
 c. e-wallets of different service provider


Schedule for on-line submission of application forms:
1. For fee through e-challan: 31-01-2017 to 01-03-2017.
