The recruitment process consists of three round: The prelims round, the mains round and the interview round. In order to reach the mains round, candidates have to clear the prelims round. SBI POs/Probationary Officers Recruitment Admit cards Download from April 15: State Bank of India (SBI) has completed the first phase of POs recruitment with online registration and submission of applications along with fees. The second phase will begin with the release of call letters for online preliminary exam. As per the official notification, the admit cards (call letters) for the preliminary exam will be available for candidates to download from official website 15 April 2017 onwards. Candidates who have applied for SBI PO recruitment must now increase the pace of their preparation.

SBI PO Pre-Exam Training Admit Card: Here's important information for candidates who have opted for SBI PO pre-exam training (those belonging to SC/ST/Religious Minority Community). Such candidates can download the call letters for the training from 7 April 2017 onwards using their registration number and password/ date of birth. State Bank of India has released the Pre-Examination Training Call Letter for SBI PO 2017 recruitment. The Pre-Exam Training is given only to SC/ ST/ Minority candidates who opt for the same at the time of registration. The Pre-Exam training call letter can be downloaded from the SBI careers website by providing the registration number generated during the application process and password or date of birth. Why is Pre-Exam Training Important: Pre-Exam Training is a kind of orientation programs where candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Minority Groups are provided introductory session about the mode of exam, types of questions which are asked in the exam etc. In the sessions candidates are informed about the common mistakes which should be avoided. Candidates are also given tips on how to score better in the exam.

The training is conducted by SBI for candidates who may be at a disadvantage. These training sessions are conducted to make sure that the reserved category candidates stand an equal chance of clearing the exam. Candidates who come from weaker sections of the society or from tribal areas and who have minimal access to internet or coaching institutes may have the intelligence to clear the exam but find the computer-based format difficult. For such candidates pre-exam training intends to level the field.

SBI PO Prelims Admit Card: For all candidates the admit card will be available from 15 April 2017. Candidates can download their call letter along with 'acquaint yourself' booklet from the official website of the Bank. During the exam, candidates must submit the photocopy of the ID along with the call letter to the invigilator. Another important thing to note is that, "If the Applicant's signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the Call Letter, the applicant will be disqualified."

SBI PO Mains Result 2017 Declaration Postponed: 'Is Still Under Process,' Says SBI: SBI has released an official notification mentioning that the SBI PO mains result 2017 will not be declared on 19 June. As per the schedule released by the State Bank of India, results for the PO main exam were expected on 19 June. However, taking the trend of prelims exam into consideration, it was also expected that SBI PO mains result 2017 can be declared a day before. Candidates had also started countdown for the result. The exact date of the result declaration is not available yet. The Bank has only deferred the earlier scheduled date for the result. Shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Group Exercises & Interview.

'The result of Main Examination held on 4th June 2017 for recruitment of Probationary Officers in State Bank of India, which was tentatively scheduled to be declared on 19.06.2017, is under process and will be declared at a later date,' reads the official notification.

a. Written test: Marks obtained are converted to out of 75
b. Group Exercises, Interview: Marks obtained are converted to out of 25
c. Final merit list is made after converting the 'converted' marks mentioned above out of 100 for each category.
