TS #GO112 #DA enhanced from 15.196 of the basic pay to 18.346 of basic pay from 1st of January, 2016, TSGO.112, Dt.08-09-2016, DA to Pensioners From 01.01.2016, The Telangana State government has issued orders increasing dearness allowance(DA) for the state government  by 3.114 percent payable from January 2016. ORDER: Government hereby order the revision of rates of Dearness Relief to pensioners sanctioned in the G.O. 7th above from 15.196% of the basic pay to 18.340% from 01.01.2016 in respect of:- (i) Those who retired from service after 01.07.2013 and are drawing pension in the Revised Pay Scales,2015. (ii) Those who retired prior to 01.07.2013 and whose pension was consolidated in above.
  1. Government also the light of orders issued in the G.O. 3rdread hereby order the revision of rates of Dearness Relief from 88.168 % to 93.304 % with effect from 01.01.2016 to the pensioners who are drawing their pension in revised pay scales, 2010 and not consolidated in terms of the orders issued in the reference 3rd read above.
  1. Government also hereby order the revision of rates of Dearness Relief from 211.95 % to222.312% with effect from 01.01.2016 to the pensioners who are drawing their pension in revised pay scales,2005 and not consolidated in terms of the orders issued in G.O.Ms. No.100, Finance (Pen.I) Department, dated.06.04.2010.
  1. Government also hereby order the revision of rates of Dearness Relief from 214.316 % to 223.314 % with effect from 01.01.2016 to the pensioners who are drawing their pension in revised Pay Scales, 1999 and not consolidated in terms of the orders issued in G.O.(P). No.248, Finance (Pen.I) Department, dated.04.10.2005.
  1. Government also hereby order the revision of rates of Dearness Relief to the pensioners who retired while drawing UGC Pay Scales 2006 from 01.01.2006 from 119% to 125% w.e.f. 01.01.2016.
  1. Government also hereby order the revision of rates of Dearness Relief to the pensioners who retired after 01.01.1996 drawing UGC Pay Scales 1996 from 234% to 245% with effect from 01.01.20116 since the Dearness Relief was regulated upto 01.01.2007 by merging 50% Dearness Relief with basic pension through G.O.(P) No.183, Finance (Pen.I) Department, dated.23.07.2007.

Government also hereby order the revision of rates of Dearness Relief to the pensioners/family pensioners whosepensionwasconsolidatedasperordersissued in G.O.Ms.No.54,HigherEducation(UE.II)Department,dated.08.06.2011and G.O.Ms.No.31,HigherEducation(UE.II)Department,dated24.05.2013from1 19% to 125% with effect from 01.01.2016.
  1. Government also hereby order the revision of rates of Dearness Relief sanctionedinG.O.Ms.No.4,Law(Law&J- SC.F)Department,dated.06.01.2011to thePensioners whoa r e drawing pensionasperJustice E.PadmanabhanC o m m i t t e e reportfrom119% to 125%witheffectfrom 0 1 -01-2016.
  1. These orders are applicable to: (1) (a)All government Pensioners in receipt of Service Pensions, Family Pensions under Revised Pension Rules,1951, Andhra Pradesh Liberalised Pension Rules, 1961 and Andhra Pradesh Government Servants (Family Pension) Rules, 1964. (b)Teaching and Non – Teaching pensioners of Municipalities, Panchayat Raj Institutions and Aided Educational Institutions, in receipt of pensions under the Andhra Pradesh Liberalised Pension Rules, 1961 and Andhra Pradesh Government Servants (Family Pension) Rules, 1964. (c) Teaching and Non – Teaching staff in Aided Educational Institutions in receipt of pensions under the Contributory Provident Fund – cum – pension and Gratuity Rules,1961 and Andhra Pradesh Liberalised Pension Rules, 1961. (d) Those drawing family pensions under G.O.Ms.No.22 Finance & Planning (FW-Pen.I) Departmentdt. 16.11.1971, G.O.Ms.No. 104 Finance & Planning (FW-Pen.I) Department dt. 13.04.1973 and G.O.Ms.No.25 Finance & Planning (FW- Pen.I) Department dt. 02.02.1974. (e)Pensioners in receipt of compassionate pension under the rules for Compassionate Pensions and Gratuities in the Hyderabad Civil Services Rules; and (f) Those in receipt of Pensions under the Wound and the Extraordinary Pension Rules. (2)Jagir and Estate pensioners and (3) Pensioners governed by the Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980.
  1. These orders are not applicable to financial assistance grantees and others who are not entitled to Dearness Relief.
  1. 11. The amount of Dearness Relief shall be rounded off to the next rup
  1. The arrears of revised Dearness Relief to the pensioners shall be paid along with the pension of September 2016 payable on 1stOctober2016.
  1. All theTreasuryOfficers/PensionPaymentOfficersshallworkoutandmake payments of the Dearness Relief on Pension sanctioned in this order without waitingfor furtherauthorization/instructionsfromthe AccountantGeneral(A&E), Telangana and AndhraPradesh,Hyderabad,in termsoftheordersissuedin theG.O.Ms.No.270, Finance&Planning(FW:PSC.I)Department ’dt. 7.10.1986.
  1. All theTreasuryOfficers/PensionPaymentOfficersshallworkoutandmake paymentsoftheDearnessReliefonPensionsanctioned inthisorderintermsof ordersissuedinG.O.Ms.No.122Finance(Pen.I)Department, dt.22.05.2014.
  1. Theexpenditure isallocable amongthevariousStatesinaccordance with provisions ofRule24oftheIncidence ofPension RulesinAppendix III- Bofthe AndhraPradeshAccountsCode, Volume-I.
  1. In respect of thecategories ofemployees whoarenotcoveredforpaymentthroughthe Treasuries, the expenditure shall be debited to the Pension Funds of ZillaParishadsandPensionFundsoftherespectiveMunicipalCouncils.
  1. InrespectofthePensionersoftheUniversitiestheexpenditureonaccount of theDearnessReliefnowsanctionedaboveshallbemetfromtheBlockGrants allottedto them.
