CTET 2019 Admit Cards download from www.ctet.nic.in: The Central Board of Secondary Education issued Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 Notification. Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET 2019 would be conducted on  July 07, 2019. Candidates who have applied for the examination are required to download the admit cards from the official website. As per past trends and normal procedure followed by CBSE for this examination, the CTET 2019 admit card download is expected to begin from next week or latest by June 20 on ctet.nic.in. Candidates are advised to keep a check on the official website for know the latest updates.

Candidates are requested to note that the admit cards are usually released 2 to 3 weeks before the examination date. There is no confirmed date available at present for the release of the admit cards. All the candidates are hence advised to keep a check on the official website. Updates, as and when available, would be also published on this page.

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE conducts the examination as a basic qualification for teachers planning to take up teaching jobs in Kendriya Vidyalayas and other central government aided schools. The examination is also accepted by various state run institutions. As per the Right to Education Act, a teacher eligibility test, or TET qualification is mandatory for appointment of teachers in TGT and PRT grades.

The examination would be conducted in two shifts on July 07, 2019. Paper 1 is for person who intends to teach classes 1 to 5 while Paper 2 is for candidates interested in TGT grade or Classes 6 to 8. The questions would be Multiple Choice questions and there is no negative marking. Candidates are required to select the correct alternatives. CTET for a person to be eligible for appointment as teacher for class I to VIII.

The CTET examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question. There will be no negative marking. There will be 2 papers of CTET. CTET Paper I will be conducted on 07.07.2019, Timing: 9.30 AM to 12.00 Noon and CTET Paper II will be conducted on 07.07.2019, Timing: 2.00 PM to 4.30 PM. A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II)

CBSE Officials will be uploaded hall tickets of Eligible Test on their Official Website ctet.nic.in.  The candidates may download their admit cards from CBSE website and appear for the examination at the given centre.

This Hall Ticket is entry pass of the examination hall. Candidates must keep their hall ticket while you are going to the examination hall and must read and follow the instruction given on the Hall Ticket. Candidate should preserve this "Hall Ticket" for any further future correspondence. Candidates are advised to visit the exam centre one or two days in advance to know the location of the centre and transportation facilities available to reach the on time to avoid tension and confusion.

How to download CTET Admit Cards?

Step 1: Candidates should visit the official site of CTET at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Select the ‘Admit Card’ link available on the side panel.

Step 3: Click on ‘CTET Admit Card’ flashing on it.

Step 4: Candidates are required to fill in details and click on submit.

Step 5: Download the admit card for further reference.

CTET 2019 examination is conducted to check the eligibility of a candidate to become a teacher in government and private schools. This can be termed as a basic qualification parameter for candidates who want to pursue teaching as their career. Aspirants can garner any information from the official site of CTET. The updates on admit card will be available once it is released.

CTET 2019: Exam pattern
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked and four alternatives will be provided to the candidates. There will be no negative marking.
CTET Paper 1: For those who want to teach Class 1 to 5.

CTET Paper 2: For those who want to teach Class 6 to 8.

Those who want to teach at both the levels will have to appear for both these papers. The candidates need to follow NCERT books as the questions will be based on syllabus for classes 1 to 5. However, the difficulty standard as well as linkages, could be up to the secondary stage. The main question paper will be Bilingual (Hindi/English)

Qualifying marks: 
A person who scores 60 per cent or more in the exam will be considered as TET pass. Those belonging to SC/ST/OBC/differently abled category will be provided relaxation up to 5 per cent in the qualifying marks in the minimum educational qualification. The validity of CTET qualifying certificate will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result.
