IBPS Clerk Prelims Result 2019: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is expected to declare the results of Clerk preliminary examination 2019 on December 28. Once the results will be declared, all the candidates can check their scores on the official website of IBPS, the link for which is ibps.in.  The IBPS Clerk prelims examination was conducted on December 8, 9 and 15 in four time slots: 2 each in the morning and evening.

IBPS Clerk Prelims Result 2019 declared @ ibps.in: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) declared the IBPS Clerk prelims result 2019 on January 4, 2019 on its official website - ibps.in. The candidates who had appeared for the IBPS Clerk Prelims exam are advised to visit the official website to check and download their result online. The results for the CWE clerk VIII examination, conducted on December 8, 9, 15 and 16, 2019, is now available on official website. The IBPS had announced this recruitment examination for a total of 7,275 clerk vacancies.

The last date to download the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2019 result is January 11, 2019. The candidates are advised to download their result before the closure date. Last year, the IBPS Clerk preliminary exam results were announced on December 29, 2017. The admit card for the IBPS Clerk Main examination, which is to be conducted on January 20, 2019, is likely to be released either on January 5 or January 6, 2019. Based on the IBPS Main Exam results, the provisional allotment of banks to the successful candidates will be announced in the month of April 2019.

Step 4) Enter your registration number and password

Step 5) Enter Captcha code

Step 6) Click on the submit button

For the IBPS main examination, candidates will get 160 minutes for solving 190 questions of 200 marks. There is the provision of the negative marking also. If a candidate gives wrong answer then 0.25 marks will be deducted as penalty from his total marks. If no answer is given, or candidate does not attempt any question, then no mark will be deducted from his/her scores.  The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) holds exams to recruit probationary officers and clerks for its associated Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) banks, SBI, Associate Banks of SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, few Co.op Banks, LIC and Insurance companies.

Paper analysis of clerk prelims: A total of 100 questions had to be answered in 60 minutes. All the sections, except English Language, were available in both English and Hindi. Every correct answer will fetch 1 mark, while every incorrect answer will reduce the score by 0.25. This year there is sectional timing of 20 minutes. There were three sets of five questions each from Seating Arrangement and Data Arrangement. The overall difficulty level of this section was easy to moderate.

IBPS Clerk Main Exam 2019: All the candidates who will successfully clear the clerk prelims will appear for the main examination on January 20. As per IBPS reports, the admit cards for the main examination will be out on January 4 or January 5, 2019.

IBPS Clerk main examination paper pattern
The paper will be divided into the following four sections:
The IBPS Clerks Main Examination will comprise 190 questions carrying 200 marks divided into four parts viz:
General/ Financial Awareness - 50 questions carrying 50 marks
General English - 40 questions carrying 40 marks
Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude - 50 questions carrying 60 marks
Quantitative Aptitude - 50 questions carrying 50 marks
Total marks: 200

There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the objective tests. For each wrong answer, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. If a candidate leaves a question unanswered no penalty for that question will be charged.
