NEET PG Results 2019: National Board of Examination, NBE will declare the result of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate, NEET PG on January 31. Candidates who have appeared in the written examination can check their results, after they are released, from the official site of NBE at nbe.edu.in. The NEET PG 2019 examination was conducted by the Board on January 06, 2019. The examination was conducted for over 1,48,000 candidates in 165 cities across the country. NEET PG Results 2019: National Board of Examinations (NBE) to be declared the NEET- PG 2019 results on the official website of the board. The result of NEET-PG 2019 indicating the score obtained by the candidates has been declared and can be seen at NBE website nbe.edu.in. According to NBE, the merit position of the candidates will be declared in due course after applying the tie-breaker criteria as given in the information bulletin for NEET-PG 2019. "It is hereby clarified that the result of NEET-PG 2019 shall be declared by NBE solely on the basis of performance of the candidates on the examination day," it said then. It also told candidates to not to get misled by any false or bogus claims regarding obtaining a rank in NEET-PG 2019. "The allotment of PG seats pursuant to declaration of NEET-PG 2019 result shall be done by respective government authority as indicated in the Information Bulletin.




How to checkthe NEET PG Results 2019: 
Follow these steps to check your NEET PG 2019 results:

Step II: Click on the NEET PG link

Step III:Login with your registration details

Step IV: Click submit

Step V: Download your results and score card

The score card of the candidates who appeared in NEET-PG 2019 can be downloaded from NEET-PG web site nbe.edu.in. Score card will not be sent individually to the candidates. Candidates are requested to download their score cards from web site nbe.edu.in. The NEET PG results notification has said the candidature is purely provisional subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in exam information bulletin.

NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act 1956. NEET-PG is a single window entrance examination for PG courses. No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 w.e.f. 2019 admission session

NEET PG Results 2019:
1. The result of NEET-PG 2019 indicating the scores obtained by the candidates has been declared and can be seen at NBE website http://www.natboard.edu.in/
2. In accordance with the eligibility criteria for admission to Post Graduate course as mentioned in the Information Bulletin for NEET-PG 2019, the cut-off scores for various categories are as follows:

Category - Eligibility Criteria - Cut-off score (Out of 1200)

3. The score card of the candidates who appeared in NEET-PG 2019will be available for download at NEET-PG website https://nbe.edu.in by 6th February 2019. 4. This score card is intended to provide the total score obtained by the candidate (out of 1200) and NEET- PG 2019 Rankwhich is the overall merit position of the candidate amongst all the candidates who have appeared in NEET-PG 2019 after applying tie-breaker criteria as mentioned in the NEET-PG 2019 Information Bulletin. It will also provide information like total number of correct and incorrect responses of the particular candidate.
5. Candidature is purely provisional subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in NEET-PG 2019 Information Bulletin.
6. The merit position for All India 50% quota seats shall be declared separately. The final merit list/category wise merit list for State quota seats shall be generated by the States/UT as per their qualifying/eligibility criteria, applicable guidelines/Regulations & reservation policy.


Validity of NEET-PG 2019 Result:
The validity of the result of NEET-PG 2019 shall be only for the current admission session i.e. 2019 admission session for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses and cannot be carried forward for the next session of admissions for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses.

Kindly note that the registration of admissions for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses is governed by Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with prior approval of Central Government and the Judgments of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

Scope of NEET-PG 2019:
NEET-PG 2019 shall be the only single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to postgraduate MD/MS/diploma courses for the academic session 2019 which will include the following:
1. All India 50 per cent quota seats (all states except Jammu and Kashmir)
2. State quota seats (including the state of Jammu and Kashmir)
3. All private medical colleges, institutions and universities/deemed universities all across the country
4. Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions
5. DNB Broad specialty courses.The following Medical institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS seats through NEET- PG for 2019 session: AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMSii. PGIMER, Chandigarhiii. JIPMER, Puducherryiv. NIMHANS, Bengaluruv. Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum
Note: No State government /private medical college/universities including the state of Jammu and Kashmir shall be conducting any separate entrance exam for admission to their MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2019-2020.

Eligibility criteria:
Education: Only those candidates can apply who have an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from a recognised college. He/ She should possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
Candidate should also have completed one year of internship or are expected to complete the internship on or before March 31, 2019.

SCOPE OF NEET-PG 2019:
NEET-PG 2019 shall be a single eligibility cum entrance examination namely ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses’ for the academic session 2019 which will include the following:
  1. All India 50% quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses (all states except Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana)
  2. State quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses for all States/Union territories of India (including the states of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana)
  3. MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at all Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities all across the country
  4. MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
  5. DNB Broad specialty courses (January 2019 Admission Session)




SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
The Computer Based Test (CBT) will comprise of 300 multiple choice questions from the MBBS curriculum followed at medical colleges in India. The syllabus for the exam shall comprise of subjects/knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with prior approval of Government of India
  • Allocation of time for the NEET-PG 2019 shall be as follows:

    *Includes 15 min. of test tutorial. Kindly note that the candidates shall be allocated to appear either in FORENOON session or in the AFTERNOON session i.e. NEET-PG 2019 comprises of ONE session/candidate only.
  • Syllabus: The syllabus for the exam shall comprise of subjects/knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by Medical Council of India with prior approval of Government of India. The syllabus shall be as per the latest Graduate Medical Education Regulations notified by the Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Govt. of India.   • The examination shall be a multiple choice questions exam delivered on computer based platform (CBT).
  • The exam comprises of 300 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions in English language only. Time allotted is 3hr. 30 min. The weightage of MCQs in each specialty is indicative and purely provisional. NBE reserves its right to alter/vary/amend the same.
  • Negative marking: There shall be no negative marking.
