Special Phase Seats Allotments will be published on 28-07-2019: దోస్త్‌ ప్రత్యేక కౌన్సెలింగ్‌లో సీట్ల కేటాయింపు: ఆన్‌లైన్‌ ద్వారా తెలంగాణలోని డిగ్రీ కళాశాలల్లో ప్రవేశాల కోసం నిర్వహించిన ప్రత్యేక కౌన్సెలింగ్‌లో 70744 మందికి సీట్లను కేటాయించినట్లు దోస్త్‌ కన్వీనర్‌ ఆచార్య లింబాద్రి తెలిపారు. సీట్లు పొందిన విద్యార్థులు రుసుములు చెల్లించి జులై 31 వరకు కళాశాలల్లో చేరాలని సూచించారు.

For a total intake of 3.83 lakh seats, the phase-I of Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) saw allotment of only 1.05 lakh seats to students for admissions in various under-graduate courses in degree colleges across the State.

Out of 1,05,433 allotted seats in the phase I,
Girls were allotted 65,058 seats (61.7 per cent) while
Boys got 40,375 seats (38.3 per cent).
The girls secured 15 ranks in the top 20.
Releasing the first list of selected candidates for under-graduate programmes of DOST here on June 10, TSCHE vice-chairman and convenor of DOST, Prof. R Limbadri said students who got seat allotted will receive SMS regarding it.

The students who got seat allotment need to report online only (Online self-reporting) by paying Rs 1,000 or Rs 500 as case may be and are not required to report to the college immediately. The student should report to the college only on July 1. Students who fail to confirm the seat online will forego the seat in the respective phase and has to exercise the web options freshly. Registrations and web options for phase II will start from June 10 and end on June 15.

The DOST has over 1.21 lakh students registered for various courses in phase I of whom 1.11 lakh students exercised their web options. About 5,996 students could not get seats due to insufficient web options. Officials said that there are 2.78 lakh vacant seats after phase I and expressed hope that more than 2 lakh seats would be allotted after the completion of phase II. Source: DOST

TSCHE had started registration for Degree Online Services of Telangana (DOST) last month for candidates seeking admissions to Undergraduate courses like B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.Com.(Voc)/B.Com.(Hons)/BSW/BBA /BBM/BCA etc at colleges and institutions affiliated with Telangana State’s 6 universities viz Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University, Satavahana University, Telangana University, Kakatiya University, and Osmania University for the academic session of 2019-2020. Candidates who had successfully registered for Telangana DOST 2019, must keep a tab on the official website for the Allotment List and follow the further counseling process by reporting to allocated colleges.

Those who gain the allotment will be eligible for undergraduate courses at various colleges affiliated with Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Telangana University Mahatma Gandhi University, Satavahana University and Palamuru University for the academic session of 2019-2020. These candidates will need to Online self-reporting (by online payment of college fee/seat reservation fee as the case may be) by students. Candidates who have not gained allotment in the first list can wait for the final lists which will be released on June 29. Classes for the first semester will begin. The Council has announced that the first allotment list will be released in the evening.

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has to be released the allotment of DOST Telangana University and college admission. Based on the DOST Telangana Web option entry, the admission to undergraduate courses in various universities across Telangana will be held. The students may logon to DOST website using their login ids and check the allotment details and may download the allotment letter. DOST had completed the first allotment admission process two days ago.

Applications  were invited  earlier through  online  mode  for  registration  and admissions  into  various  Undergraduate  Courses,  such as  BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, etc., offered by various colleges affiliated to Osmania  University,  Kakatiya  University,  Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Satavahana University and Palamuru University  which  includes  Constituent,  Government, Aided, Autonomous  and  Private  Colleges  for  the  Academic  Year  2019-2019. More than 1000 colleges with more than 4 lakh seats from across Telangana are participating in this DOST undergraduate admission allotment process.
