AIIMS: The AIIMS entrance examination is a gateway to the most prestigious medical college in the country. Apart from the main centre in New Delhi which was established in 1956, there are six other colleges at various cities across India. The colleges are AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Patna, AIIMS Raipur, AIIMS Rishikesh.

AIIMS MBBS 2019: Important dates
The AIIMS MBBS exam is likely to be conducted between May 25 and 26 next year. For the PG admission, the exam is expected to be conducted on May 5, 2019. The exams for the M.Sc and Biotechnology aspirants are likely to be held on June 29. The students can expect the results before July 5, 2019.

AIIMS MBBS 2019: Minimum marks to qualify

AIIMS MBBS 2019 Entrance Exam on May 25, 26 and AIIMS MBBS 2020 Entrance Exam on May 30, 31: AIIMS MBBS 2019 to be held between May 25 and May 26: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the tentative examination schedule for admission into its courses Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) for the academic year of 2019-20. As per the schedule, the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam will be held between May 25 and May 26 at various test centres across India.

AIIMS MBBS 2020-2021: 
Moreover, the AIIMS MBBS for the next academic session i.e. 2020-2021 will be conducted on May 30th and 31st May, 2020 (Saturday and Sunday).

AIIMS PG Admission:
Meanwhile, for the PG admission, the exam is likely to be held on May 5, 2019.

AIIMS MBBS Result:
This year, the AIIMS MBBS Exam 2018 was conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode on May 26 and May 27. The test was held in 155 cities all over India. Further, the result of the same was released on June 18. About 3.5 lakh to 4 lakh students had appeared in the AIIMS MBBS exam according to the estimation. Over two lakh candidates have appeared for the examination this year that was conducted on May 26 and May 27.


All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS New Delhi has released the notification for AIIMS MBBS 2019 entrance examination. The notification to be available on the official website aiimsexams.org. Candidates are advised to note that the examination would be conducted on May 25  and May 26 only in online computer based test or CBT mode. Interested candidates are requested to apply online on the official website. The online applications for AIIMS MBBS 2019 to be started in 2019. AIIMS MBBS 2019 examination would be used for admissions to AIIMS New Delhi MBBS courses as well as MBBS courses in 8 other AIIMS across the country including Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh, Raipur, Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) & Nagpur (Maharashtra). The forms would be available tentatively (as mentioned in the official notification). Candidates are required to fill the online application forms. Please note, the fee for the examination can only be made through electronic online modes like debit, credit card or net banking.

All candidates are advised to carefully go through the important instructions for filling AIIMS MBBS 2019 application form released on the official website. The choice of examination centre would be available only after payment of fees. Also, it is based on first come first serve basis. The exact schedule for the examination would be confirmed after the registrations close, after determining the number of applications for each centre.


Academic Qualification:
The applicant must have passed / appearing / appeared in Class 12th examination or its equivalent from a recognized education board with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Applicants from Unreserved category must have scored minimum 60% marks in the above mentioned exam in aggregate while candidates from SC/ST/OPH category must have scored 50% aggregate.


AIIMS MBBS 2019 Eligibility:
Indian nationals who have attained the age of 17 years as on 31 December 2019 are eligible to apply for AIIMS MBBS 2019, provided they have completed their class 12 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology before the commencement of admission to the respective college. This extends to students who are appearing in the class 12 board examinations this year. Please note, there is no upper age limit for AIIMS MBBS 2019 examination. However, minimum marks in the qualifying examination of 60% for general category student and 50% for SC/ST/PWD Candidates is required. Candidates failing to secure the minimum marks would not be admitted to the course at the medical college. Also, in case a student/ candidate gets CGPA, then they would have to apply for the conversion of the CGPA to percentage while filling the online application form.

Please note, foreign nationals are not required to fill the online application form or appear in the competitive entrance examination. The admission of Foreign nationals is strictly on the basis of nomination. Interested candidates are required to contact the Indian Mission in their respective country for details of the same.


AIMS MBBS Entrance Exam
AIIMS MBBS 2019 Entrance Exam will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The online exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on 25th May 2019 and 26th May 2019 in two shifts on each day viz morning 9 AM to 12:30 PM and 3 PM to 6:30 PM.

Total number of seats available for AIIMS MBBS 2019:
A total of 807 seats would be filled by the means of the AIIMS MBBS 2019 examination. This includes 107 seats in AIIMS Delhi, 100 seats each across 6 new AIIMS at Bhopal, Bhubhaneshwar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh) and 50 seats each at AIIMS Nagpur and AIIMS Guntur.


AIIMS MBBS 2019 Online Application Form Fees:
General and OBC category candidates applying for the entrance examination are required to pay a fee of Rs 1500 for the form. The fee for SC/ST and Persons with Disability is set at Rs. 1200. Additional transaction fees as applicable for online payment. Please note, only online payment modes of a credit card, debit card or net banking are accepted. Also, the application form would not be considered submitted till the payment of the fees.
