CMAT, GPAT 2019: Online application process ends on December 7: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the registration process for the Common Management admission Test (CMAT) and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2019 on November 1. This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the examinations on January 28, and the admit card can be downloaded from January 7, 2019. The results for both the examinations will be declared on February 10.

CMAT, GPAT 2019: Registration ends on December 7: The registration for two of the entrance exams CMAT and GPAT will close on December 7, 2018. The candidates who wish to appear for these examination are advised to visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) or through official website of these exams. The registration forms has to be submitted online from the official website. The CMAT 2019 official website link is ntacmat.nic.in and for GPAT registration, the candidates can visit - ntagpat.nic.in.

The last date to submit application forms for both the exams is same, December 07, 2018. The exam for both GPAT and CMAT - will be held on January 28, 2019. The exams will be conducted in computer based mode (CBT), at national level.

After successful registration, the candidates can also register themselves for practicing mock tests at the Test Practice Centres (TPC). Candidates who wish to appear for the mock test need to do the student verification before appearing for the test. The mock is free for students and registration facility is available on the official website of NTA and also through the NTA’s Mobile App. The candidates can check further details on the same on the official portal of the exam.

CMAT and GPAT were conducted by All India Council of Technical Education, AICTE till 2017. However, after the launch of NTA in June 2018, the said examinations would now be conducted by NTA. The eligibility criteria and paper pattern for the two are expected to remain the same under NTA.

Candidates are again reminded that the CMAT and GPAT examinations would now be conducted by NTA and not AICTE. Also, the websites aicte-cmat.in and aicte-gpat.in are most likely to be discontinued. The website information for CMAT 2019 and GPAT 2019 would be announced along with the registration information on nta.ac.in.

CMAT and GPAT details:
The CMAT and GPAT will be computer-based exams for which the candidates will be able to register till  November 30, December 07, 2018. CMAT and GPAT Admit cards for the exams to be held on January 28, 2019 can be downloaded from January 7. The CMAT and GPAT results will be announced on February 10, 2019.


Educational qualification for GPAT:
All the candidates interested in applying need to possess a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognised institute/university.

Those in their final year of Bachelor of Pharmacy programme are also eligible to apply.

Educational qualification for CMAT:
Candidates should have acquired a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute.

Examination pattern of CMAT and GPAT:
The CMAT is a three-hour computer based online test based on quantitative technique, logical reasoning, language comprehension and general awareness.

The GPAT is of three hours paper. Further, the test comprises of a total of 125 questions of four marks each. Further, for any incorrect answer, negative marking will be done and for each correct answer, there are four marks.
