The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 92 cities all over the country. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in and the
aspiring candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying. CTET 2019 Exam date : CTET 2019 to be conducted on 07-07-2019:
CTET 2019 Exam Date announced on ctet.nic.in, to be conducted on July 07 - CTET Exam schedule. Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has announced the CTET 2019 exam date. As per the official notification released on the website, CTET 2019 would be conducted on July 07, 2019. The official notification of the revised exam date is available on the website ctet.nic.in. Information about the CTET exam:
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has disclosed the examination date for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 on its official website- ctet.nic.in. The exam will be conducted on July 07, 2019.
- The exam will be conducted on July 07, 2019.
- It will be conducted in 92 cities across the nation.
- The exam will be conducted to appoint eligible candidates as teachers for classes 1 to 8.
- Paper I will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm and Paper II will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12 pm on the same day.
- The candidates who score 60 per cent or more in the exam will be considered as TET pass.

CBSE CTET 2019: Exam Pattern
- At least two papers of CTET 2019 will be conducted and all the questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives
- Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking
- Paper 1 is for those who want to apply for the post of teacher for classes 1-5
- Paper 2 is for a candidate who intends to be a teacher for classes 6-8
- It must be noted that a candidate willing to sit for both the posts will have to take both Paper 1 and Paper 2.


CBSE CTET 2019: Paper 1 and Paper 2 syllabus
Paper 1 will continue for two-and-a-half-hour and will consist of subjects like - child development and pedagogy, Language 1 (Compulsory), Language 2 (Compulsory), mathematics and environmental studies.
Paper 2 will consist of child development and pedagogy, Language 1 and Language 2 which will be compulsory.
Apart from that, mathematics and social studies/sciences paper will be taken by those who will have opted likewise.

Also, as CBSE has modified the eligibility criteria, as per which, B.Ed candidates will now be eligible to apply for Paper-I as well (read both papers), interested candidates can make the changes once the Online Correction Process window is made available from 6th to 15th September 2019. CTET 2019 examination comprises of two papers viz Paper-II - 9:30 am to 12 pm (Classes VI to VIII) and Paper-I - 2 pm to 4:30 pm (Classes I to V). A candidate needs minimum 60% to become CTET Qualified and the certificate is valid for a period of seven years. CTET 2019 qualified candidates become eligible to apply for teacher recruitment as and when it happens for Class I to VIII in schools that come under the purview of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UTs of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi


CTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria Modified.....
CTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria has been modified by the CBSE upon receiving clarification from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). A Corrigendum has been released on the official website of Central Teacher Eligibility Test - ctet.nic.in, stating the modified Point 6.1 of the Information Bulletin of CTET-2019.As per the amendment, candidates who are B.Ed qualified and have applied for Paper-II can now apply for Paper-I as well.

CBSE is scheduled to organize the 11th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. CTET 2019 in two slots viz Paper-II - 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and Paper-I - 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, for candidates aspiring to serve as teachers for Class I to VIII in schools that come under the purview of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UTs of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi..

Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET 2019 is not going to be conducted on July 07, 2019. Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE officials have confirmed that the exam date for CTET 2019 is under advisement at present and would be notified later. In the meanwhile, the CTET 2019 online application forms are now available on ctet.nic.in. Interested candidates are required to apply before .. on the official website. There are some sites which are claiming that CTET 2019 would be conducted on ... Some are suggesting that the dates might remain the same. However, that is not true. The date of September 16, 2019 was notified earlier but has since been changed.

CTET eligibility is mandatory for candidates aspiring for central school teaching jobs as well as jobs with JNV or KVs. Some states also accept CTET in terms of the mandatory TET qualifier for teachings jobs at state level institutes.


CTET Admit Cards:
The candidates may download Admit Card from CTET official website and appear for the examination at the given Centre. In case of any discrepancy noticed in admit card regarding particulars of candidate, photograph and signature or any other information vary from confirmation page, he/she may immediately contact CTET unit for necessary corrections.

In case confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fees, the candidate should approach the Assistant Secretary (Exam.), CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. from 10 days beofre the commencement of CTET Exam along with CTET 2019 proof of payment of fee i.e. candidate copy of E-Challan, if payment made through E Challan or copy of bank statement, if payment made through Credit/Debit Card for considering his/her candidature for CTET 2019 examination.

The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidate report at the examination centre after 9:30 AM shall not be allowed to sit in Paper II and candidate report after 2:00 PM shall not be allowed to sit in Paper I.

The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.
