NEET 2019 eligibility criteria under NTA, important dates and more on NEET 2019: NTA would be conducting NEET 2019 next year on May 5, 2018. Check the key dates and eligibility criteria for NEET 2019 under National Testing Agency. National Testing Agency, NTA would soon be releasing the online application forms for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2019. As per the official schedule, NEET 2019 registration would begin on from November 1, 2018. Students interested in applying for undergraduate medical and dental courses are required to qualify the NEET 2019. No change in the eligibility criteria for NEET under NTA. For most part, NEET 2019 would be similar to NEET 2018 which was conducted by CBSE. The examination would be conducted in pen and paper format on one day across the country. Important Dates for NEET 2019 are provided here.

Start of registration and filling of online application form – November 1, 2018
Last date to fill online application forms/ pay fees – November 30, 2018
Admit Card Download: April 15, 2019
Date of Examination: May 5, 2019
Date of Results: June 5, 2019

NEET 2019: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: As per previous notifications, age limit for NEET 2019 would be 17 years to 25 years of age. The age is expected to be calculated as on the date of the examinations – which is May 5, 2019. More Details on NTA NEET UG Exam

Educational Qualification: Students are required to have completed full time course in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Biotechnology) at the intermediate level. Please be informed that students who have appeared for the said courses from open are not eligible to apply. Also, English language is also required.

There is no cap on the number of attempts as such. There was a suggestion of capping the number of attempts to 3. However, this decision as retracted after intervention.

All the students and parents are also advised to note that the eligibility criteria, as marked, is only indicative and based on the eligibility criteria for NEET 2018. They are advised to check the official notification once released by NTA. NTA is scheduled to release the official notification for NEET 2019 on October 31, 2018 on and start the registration from November 1, 2018.
