AP Best Available Schools BAS Entrance Test Results for 1st,3rd,5th,8th Class BAS Scheme Admissions: AP State Government issued the BAS notification and online applications were received from the eligible students for Admission in Class 1st, 3rd, Class 5th, Class 8th into Best Available Schools Scheme (Residential & Non-Residential) for the year 2019-2020 under the Best Available Schools Scheme. Admissions would be made the 1st class and 3rd Class student through Lottery system and in respect of 5th class and 8th Class student through written exam only.

Student Registration process was completed through through Online mode at Jnanabhumi web portal.
The Welfare Department would done the allocation of seats through Electronic Lotter for 1st Class and 3rd Class Students and would done the allocation of Seats for 5th Class and 8th Class Students by Conducting Exam. This BAS scheme provides financial assistance to SC & ST children to cover the tuition fees of the best available schools at the district and sub district levels.

We know the , the BAS applications would be received annually under the BAS Scheme. The Best Available Private English medium schools at the district and sub district Schools Scheme was operated manually until the last admission season. The Jnanabhumi Web portal is covering the key processes of submission of application, allotment of exam centers and nominal rolls, generation of hall tickets, announcement of results, allotment of schools, admissions, academics, inspections of welfare officers, health and bills.

1. Issue of Paper Notification 1 7.05.2019
2. Enable the Student Registration under Class 5th of SCs and 5th and 8th of STs in Jnanabhumi portal: 17.05.2019 to 3 1.05.2019
3. Registration last date: 31.05.2019
4. Hall Ticket issue date (through Message): 05.06.2019
5. Date of Examination: 07.06.2019
6. Declaration of results: 10.06.2019
7. Verification and Allotment order: 12.06.2019

How to Check the BAS Results:

Step 1: Student / Parent has to visit the Jnanabhumi web portal: https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in/

Step 2: In this page, Click on the "Best Available Schools" Tab under Icon Sections

Step 3: Then, Best Available Schools Sub Section Web Page will be opened in the Same Page

Step 4: Now, Search for the BAS Results and click on it

Step 5: Now, BAS Results web page will be opened.

Step 6: In this BAS Scheme Results page, Enter your hall ticket and click on the Get Results button

Step 7: Then, your results will be downloaded and take a print. Preserve it future reference

Best Available Schools:
The best available schools- non residential / residential scheme is to provide 100% quality education to SC students in the district itself, particularly in rural areas has best institutions in the district are selected for the purpose. The main objective of the scheme is to provide 100% quality education in the district itself in best selected private schools/institutions.

Best Available Schools Scheme:
A. Residential: The main aim of the Scheme is to impart quality education to the SC students of classes V to X in order to enable them to withstand the competition on par with other students in general. The entry point is V class. The scheme is for the children of those who belong to the families of agricultural labourers, jogins, bonded labourers and orphans who are admitted in the best-selected schools having high standard of education with high reputation for discipline. Each student admitted under the scheme is sanctioned financial assistance of Rs.30,000/- per year w.e.f 2015-16.The Income limit under the scheme is Rs.1,50,000/- per annum in rural areas and Rs.2,00,000/- in urban areas.

B. Non-Residential: The main objective of the scheme is to provide quality education to SC students by enabling them to join in reputed Best Available Schools from class I. Each student admitted under this scheme is being sanctioned financial assistance up to Rs.20,000/- per year. The Govt. have issued orders vide G.O.Ms.No.52, Social Welfare (Edn.) Department, dated 23.05.2014 introducing Pre-Matric Scholarships to Scheduled Caste Students under the New Scheme “Best Available Schools (Non-Residential Scheme)” from the academic year 2014-15.


In this online applying process, Student has to apply through the online application form is available on the "Best Available Schools" tab .Parents Aadhaar number and mobile number has to be entered while registration. OTP will be sent to the number mentioned number which will re-direct you to the online application form. Fill all the details correctly and click on"Submit" .The application number will be sent to the registered mobile number through SMS.
