2nd Round NEET 2019 Counselling starts from July 11 to July 13 on mcc.nic.in and Steps on how to register online for choice filling. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2019 Counselling would begin for undergraduate MBBS and BDS admissions for the current academic year. How to Apply for NEET UG Counselling for Online Registrations, Choice filling from June 19

Students and parents may please note that MCC or Medical Counselling Committee would be conducting the counselling for 15% All India Quota alone. For the 85% state quota, candidates need to get in touch with the respective state authorities.

2nd Round NEET UG Counselling (Update on 13-07-2019):
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has begun with the registration process for the second round of registrations for candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG). The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for admission to MBBS and BDS courses across colleges in India through the counselling process before July 13. Eligibility criteria: General category: 50 percent and Reserved category: 45 percent

The counselling has begun and the second round process will be declared on July 11, 2019. After registration, candidates will have to choose the colleges and courses they wish to take admission in based on preference. The choice and lock-in window will be available on July 12, 2019. The process of seat allotment will be held from July 13 to 15, 2019. Thereafter, a list will be released on July 15. Those who wish to take admission in allotted colleges will have to get their documents verified and submit a fee to lock their seat or wait for the next round.

NEET counselling 2019: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and family welfare will begin the first round of counselling for admission to medical and dental courses across the country from June 19 (Wednesday). Interested and eligible candidates can apply at the official website, mcc.nic.in. The first round of counselling will be conducted from June 19 and The Second round of counselling will be conducted from June 19 to .....

If seats are left vacant then the second counselling be conducted from July 6 to July 9. This year, National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET. In the national-level entrance exam for the medical and dental courses, a total of 15,19,375 candidates registered out of which 14,10,754  aspirants appeared for the exam.

NEET Counselling 2019: Marking scheme
✤ A total of 7,04,335 candidates belonging to the unreserved category secured marks between 701 and 134.
✤ The qualifying criteria for this category are 50 percentile or 701 to 134 marks.
✤ As many as 63,789 OBC candidates and 20,009 students from SC category and 8,455 candidates from ST category have cleared the NEET 2019.
✤ For reserved category candidates, the eligibility criterion is to secure 40 percentile of the total marks which comes to 133 to 107 marks

Who are eligible for NEET counselling 2019: 
Candidates who have qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) are eligible to apply for counselling. Those who have obtained a minimum of 50 per cent (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentage for general-physically handicapped) in the NEET 2019 are considered to have passed the exam. Further, the ministry releases a list of qualified candidates – AIQ – excluding those from Jammu and Kashmir to take part in common counselling.

NEET counselling 2019 Second round details: The registration for the second round of counselling will be conducted from July 11 to 13 till 5 pm. The payment window for the same will be open until July 14. The same date, the choice of filling will be made available till 5 pm. Seat allotment for round two will be available from July 15 to July 17 and the document verification will take place on July 18, 2019. Those who do not wish to take admission after the second round of counselling will be given a refund on their registration fee. To take a refund, candidates will have to report to their allotted college and inform that they wish to forfeit their seats. NEET 2019 Counselling – Step by step process for Online Registrations:
❁ Step 1: Go to the official website mcc.nic.in and select UG Counselling. The link for Registration would be activated.
❁ Step 2: Once available, click on New Registration and fill out the form. Provide the information asked. Once registering for online counselling, the candidates would have to fill out the choices. Depending on their ranks, students can fill out the choices of the medical or dental colleges.
❁ Step 3: Pay the fee, as applicable for the counselling registration. Students must remember to lock their choices  by 5:00 pm on 25th June 2019. In case students do not lock in the choices, the last saved choices would be locked automatically.
❁ Step 4: On June 27, 2019 MCC would release the Result for the 1st Round of Counselling. Candidates are required to login on the website mcc.nic.in to check the result.
❁ Step 5: If the candidates are happy with the allotted seat, they are required to report to the medical college between June 28, 2019 to July 3, 2019. In case students wish to move on to the next level of counselling and try to grade up can do so by participating in the second round of counselling.
❁ Step 6: For all the students who do not get a seat in the first round of counselling automatically move to the second round of counselling. The choices filled in the first round of counselling would become null and void.
❁ Step 7: The second round of counselling would begin from July 11, 2019. Students have to fill in their choices again. The result of second round of counselling would be released on July 18, 2019. ❁ Candidates who are allotted a seat and wish to take it are required to report to the college or institute. In case a student is not happy with the allotted seat, he/she can exit the process by forfeiting the security fees.
❁ Step 8: All the unreported seats would then move to the State Quota and would be opened for the candidates. MCC would also be conducting the counselling for Central/ Deemed Universities/ ESIC seats as well. Procedure for NEET UG counselling 2019: 
First of all, eligible candidates need to register for the main counselling and make payment. After submitting fee, students will have to select and lock their courses and colleges of choice. Based on the preference of a student and their merit, students will get the seats. Those who reserve their seats by making payment within the given time will be selected. Now, selected candidates need to appear at the reporting centre with documents and clear a fitness test. Those who are finally selected are given admission and the rest of the seats will be pushed for the second round and so on. A list of vacant seats will be published and fresh choice submission, counselling etc will take place.

Necessary Documents needed for NEET UG counselling 2019: 
❃ - Copy of downloaded NEET-MDS/PG 2019 admit card
❃ - NEET-MDS/PG 2019 marksheet
❃ - Nationality certificate/valid passport or School leaving certificate of HSC/ class 12 indicating the nationality of the candidate as “Indian”
❃ - BDS/MBBS degree
❃ - Internship completion certificate
❃ - Permanent / provisional registration certificate of Maharashtra Medical Council or other State Medical Councils in India/MCI
❃ - Certificate from Head of Institute showing that the college/ Institute from which the candidate has passed MBBS/MDS examination is recognised by Medical Council of India

EWS quota for NEET counselling 2019: 
This year, the newly introduced, EWS quota (economically weaker section) will be applicable for NEET UG admissions. The NTA had earlier notified that the counselling authorities shall identify, the institutions giving EWS quota and conduct counselling for these seats as a separate category.
