NTA UGC NET Exam Schedule 2019 for National Eligibility Test NET 2019: Union MHRD Minister Prakash Javadekar announced the National Testing Agency, NTA Exam Schedule on July 7 at a press conference. Union MHRD Minister Prakash Javadekar on Saturday, July 8, announced the National Testing Agency, NTA exam schedule. The national-level competitive examinations of National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination, NEET, Joint Entrance Examination Mains, JEE Mains and National Eligibility Test, NET that were previously conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE would now be conducted by NTA. CMAT and GPAT examination too would be conducted by NTA.

UGC NET 2019: UGC NET will be held from June 20 to 28. A month after announcing the tentative date, the Union government has released the final schedule of the NET (National Eligibility Test) exam that will be conducted twice a year - once in July and then in June by the newly constituted National Testing Agency (NTA). Along with NET, JEE (Main) will be held twice while NEET will be held once a year. The registration of UGC NET 2019 will start from March 1 and will close on March 30. The admit cards will be available for download from June 11 and the results will be released on Jule 11, 2019.

UGC NET 2019: New exam pattern
From this year, NTA will conduct the exam and instead of 3 papers, there will be only 2 papers – paper 1 and paper 2.
- Paper 1: It will be of 100 marks and will contain 50 objective type compulsory questions. Each question will carry 2 marks and will be of general nature and will test the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate.The duration of the same will be one hour (9:30 am to 10:30 am).
- Paper 2: It will be of 100 marks and will contain 100 objective type compulsory questions. Each question will carry 2 marks and will be based on the subject opted by the candidate. The duration of the same will be two hours (11 am to 1 pm)

NTA UGC NET 2019: National Testing Agency (NTA) To Conduct Its First Exam UGC NET 2019 Exam In June. The National Testing Agency (NTA), the newly formed national level academic competition examination authority, would conduct its first exam UGC NET 2019, which was till now conducted by the CBSE, in June. According to the schedule released by the MHRD, the online submission of application forms for National Eligibility Test (NET) would begin from March 1 and would be on till March 30. The examinations would be held between June 20 to 28 in two shifts per day on Saturdays and Sundays. The MHRD said the UGC NET examinations would be held online from this June. The UGC NET 2019 June session results would be declared in the last week of July 2019.

NTA UGC NET 2019 June Exam Schedule: UGC NET would be conducted in June by NTA, its first exam as in its capacity as a newly formed examination agency. The detailed notification is yet to be released by the organisers, but it can be expected any time.

3. Declaration of results: Last week of July 2019

Along with UGC NET, the education ministry has also released schedules for NEET 2019, JEE Main 2019, CMAT 2019 and GPAT 2019. All these examinations will be held by NTA from now onwards. The NTA will establish a network of test practice centres for students of rural areas so that everyone will have an opportunity to practice before the exam. This is expected to held the aspirants to familiarize themselves with the new online examination mode.  Schools/engineering colleges with computer centres would be identified and kept open on Saturday/Sunday starting from 3rd week of August. Any student can use the facility free of charge.

In order to allow adequate time for preparing for the exams, the tentative schedule for exams is being declared well in advance:

University Grants Commission’s NET examination, scheduled to be conducted by CBSE for this year, will now be held in June. Further clarity in this regard is awaited and would be duly updated

New NET Schedule/ Dates:
The newly constituted National Testing Agency (NTA) would start conducting NET entrance exam. The National Eligibility Test (NET) would be conducted in June

National Eligibility Test NET for: National Eligibility Test NET, a qualifying test for admission in higher educational institutions in the country, would be the first exam to be conducted by the newly formed body. The NET, to determine eligibility for post of assistant professor or award of junior research fellowship, will be held in June.

Students will be able to go practice mock tests from August-end at examination centres, free of cost. The results will be able to be processed faster and more efficiently. Major examination reform, NTA, is now operational. It will be conducting the NEET, JEE mains, NET, CMAT and GMAT examinations effective this year.

Announcing the schedule of National Testing Agency, Javadekar stated that the new arrangement made by the MHRD will garner a lot of benefit to the students of the country. The candidates who would appear for these tests will be able to use the best score from the multiple attempts during the counselling process. It will also curb paper leaks and it will all be computerised. Javadekar also informed that neither the syllabus nor format of these examinations will be changed, not even the nature and the kind of questions. Only the method of taking the examination will change. It will all computer-based and conducted in online mode.

Standard of the exams: 
Under NTA, these exams will be more secure and at par with international norms, claimed the minister. There will be no issues of leakage and it would be more student friendly, open, scientific and a leak-proof system.

NTA is expected to bring in qualitative difference in the examination process by its focus on research and scientific test design using services of Experts, Researchers, Statisticians, Psychometricians, Test Item Writers and Education Specialists.

The item writers would be trained to ensure that the quality of questions is as per the test design. The experts, statisticians and item writers/subject matter experts are already identified for being inducted into NTA. The new system will be student friendly, fair , transparent and flexible.

The NTA would benefit the students and they would have the option of going to computer centres from August-end to practice for the exams. The tests would be computer-based. The exams would be held over a span of four-five days and students would have the option of choosing the dates, the minister said.

The syllabus, question formats, language and fees for the NEET, JEE Main and NET exams would not be changed. The time table of the exams to be conducted by NTA would be uploaded on the ministry's website.
